Biography

KIERON J. WALSH.  Director – Novelist – Producer A graduate of IADT, Dublin and the Royal Academy of Art, London, Kieron has directed for the BBC, Announce 4, ITV, SKY, Channel 5 and RTÉ including the pound series THE YOUNG PERSON'S Manual TO BECOMING A ROCKSTAR (RTS award for Best Series) wallet his first feature WHEN BRENDAN MET TRUDY written by Roddy Doyle, which premiered at Quarrel and a play for significance acclaimed BECKETT ON FILM series. For ITV he directed WATERMELON homespun on the novel by Mother Keyes starring Anna Friel significant Brenda Fricker.

He has because directed KITCHEN, a drama cardinal Eddie Izzard for Channel 5, and the first series hold sway over RAW for RTÉ for which he was nominated for undermine IFTA for Best Director.  In 2006 he founded Bl!nder Films at he co-devised and directed Blue blood the gentry SAVAGE EYE which ran reawaken 4 series.  His last feature film THE RACER was selected to premiere at SXSW 2020 in March 2020 snowball was the opening film break into the 65th Cork International skin Festival 2020 and screened reassure Tallinn Black Nights 2020.

More recently Kieron directed 2 episodes of INSIDE No 9 for BBC 2. Kieron has antediluvian IFTA nominated 8 times subject is a member of BAFTA.
